- كان وزير الماليه 1990 اثناء المجلس الوطني
- صوت ضد احمد الربعي 1995و نقول له "لا لا" للمساس بالدستور
- غير حاضر لحقوق المرأة لكن وافق لحقها بالبلدية
- يسلب اصوات من احمد السعدون
أنا ليبرالي، ومن أول من يساند الدستور و نصوصه المستحقة. لا اطمع بأخذ أي حكم، وأنا لست محسوب على حزب. و بعيد عن من يريد تغير مواد الدستور، أو من يريد أن يغير معايير تطبيق القوانين بين، وعلى، الكويتيين. أو من يتخيل بتغير حكام الكويت.
أساند مُبايعة آبائي لآلصباح،و أساند كل من تابع تلك المبايعة، فالكويت تأسست بمبدأ وبمبايعه لصالح أهلها. فأحاسب آلصباح بمسؤوليتهم. واقف لمسؤوليتي. فإن اختلفنا، فبالمجلس نتناقش، وبالمجلس للشعب صوته و ليكون الدستور محورنا.
بنفس الوقت، أطالب أن تكون الكويت اقرب لطموح تطلعات من أسسها. فالكويت لي هي مبدأ. قبل ان تكون ارض يحارب لها أهلها. الكويت مبدأ يتعايش بيه أهلها. فهي تعيش مدى الزمن بمبدأ المساواة و حماية الفرد، ونحن نموت من اجل تلك المبادئ.
وللحق، أقول إنني أتطلع لاستحقاق المزيد من الحقوق كفرد. فأؤيد منهج المساواة و حرية الفرد مِن تَطغي الغير و الأغلبية ، فأطمح لكويت تصون للفرد حريته، و تشجع للفرد إنتاجه وتحاسب من خالف القانون.
المرحلة القادمة تحتاج توافق اكبر بين كل الكويتيين من اجل إنقاذ الديره من فساد شجع التخاذل عن المسؤوليات لصالح الطمع.
فيا مجلس 2006، أمل الكويت معكم.

Thanks, but I couldn't manage an exhaustive list. I selected candidates I felt strongly pro and strongly against.
For Rawda, it seemed too tight for much change. I'll look into it more, and update it for the caring posse in the 9th!

I thought it would be obvious that the ones not marked (ضد) are the ones I support.
The ones with ?? are new and I do not know a lot about them, except for some news/opinions here and there. However, I would rather these ?? get votes rather than the ones I'm against.
Are you voting? If you are, then in which دائره? Who/what sort of group would you prefer to win?

Signed the halliburton petition, which was a demand to investigate the suspicious contract in which Halliburton subcontracted to AlTanmia company (tied to Talal AlFahad, the brother of Ahmed AlFahad - the minister for oil). The company overcharged for oil supplied to the American troops in Iraq.

Boycotted Majlis AlWatani
Back in the late 80s, the parliament was dissolved unconstitutionally. In the absence of Majlis AlOmmah and the role of the legislative part of governance, a new weaker parliament was created - Majlis AlWatani. Most caring Kuwaitis and defenders of the constitution boycotted this parliament. The events of those years are important, and are precursors to many strategic mistakes by the government that weakened the role of the parliament. Those that did not boycott Majlis AlWatani are considered government brown-nosers, and do not care about democracy in Kuwait.

Sorry for the late response! No, I'm not disappointed about the results. I think for the next phase we need unity for the sake of reforms.
So, if you meant I'm disappointed because liberals remained a minority, then I'm OK with it. Whatever Kuwaitis want to represent them for the future. It's also a wake up call for a disorganised liberal group.
I'll hold back on my beliefs, for a stronger and more just Kuwait. We want reforms, to make everyone feel that they are an important part of Kuwait, without any greed for influence or power.
